This is a discussion between two fellows about the Jumper T16. The owner states erroneously that it will bind to anything. That is NOT true.

Not everyone is extremely positive about the Jumper T16. Max discusses why the T16 will NOT become his "daily driver".

A quick review with some questions and some 3D plane flying using the Jumper T16.

He describes the feel of the transmitter and gimbals, which he likes. He notes that the battery box is loose. (He didn't install the provided self-stick foam pad to it. Duh!) Perfect seems to be a favorite word of his. Not really a lot of useful information in this video.

Not Jumper specific, but looks like good, old school PWM, receiver with RSSI for the Jumper T16. Available from Banggood for $15.59 plus shipping in Jan. 2020. Expected on Amazon in Feb. 2020.

He discusses the differences in stick position and stick throws between the Jumper T16, FrSky Q X7, Taranis and Taranis Lite and why that is important to him. He rambles through the entire video. He doesn't seem to follow any kind of outline for the information he's providing. He mentions that there are some quality control issues at about 11:25 into the video. He specifically mentions the stuck key warning and how he fixed it. He stops talking about the Jumper at about 13 minutes into the video and rambles on with other topics.

While this is a Dec. 11 video, the version OS is Jumper, not OpenTX. Not sure why. Does have the silver logo. His battery is shaking around, you can hear it. Knocks the battery box and his has tape on the red lead for some reason. The springs in his battery box are different on each side. One has three "coils" and the other two "coils". Really doesn't know much about hobby radios at all.

Recommended purchase rating from Bruce. Looks at and comments on the guts.

Tells why he likes it, especially for telemetry.

Has internal module. Shows previous version with serial #005010 and never version serial #H014478. Short video just talking about differences between the two iterations.

Grayson announces full OpenTX support for Jumper T-16. Shipping now with OpenTX, but it was a version of OpenTX 2.3.2, not the OpenTX that became compatible with the Jumper; 2.3.3.

This is the video that shows the odd little board added over the motherboard on the left side with the back open.

Put in his own internal module, but he had Hall effect gimbals. Making lots of changes in the production runs. Says runs on Jumper OpenTX but not true now.

Goes over the differences in the new Pro. Talks about Hall effect gimbals between upgrade ones and the ones that comes in the new Pro. Also had problems with the card reader.

FCC mentioned again. Pro announced with Hall effect gimbals. First time on YouTube the Pro is shown, but still no internal multi-protocol module.

Guy was part of OpenTX community for awhile. Discusses the problem that the OpenTX community had with Jumper T16. Many glowing comments about the T-16. Doesn't like speaker. Trainer port at the top. Talks about adding internal multi-protocol module.

About 1/2 through the video he talks about his T16. Mentions he thinks roller might have metal pin now.

Notice that Jumper T-16 is certified in USA, note that the owner of this Jumper is not happy with switches and stuff like that, concerned with improving quality control, says linked to FCC Cert. on this video page, but I did not see it.

Gives likes and don't likes. Some of the don't likes are important.

This video appears to be made with the original release Jumper T16. It shows and talks about the Jumper T8 & T12 and notes that the T16 comes with an external module. There are a few misstatements in the video. It shows the Jumper T16 flying several quads.

Runs through the functions. Doesn't have all the Wizards supported for the large screen. Likes it, got used to using it.
Could not use Companion because JumperTX was not supported. Indicates that starting with Companion is probably not the best way to start.

Describes trim switches T5 & T6 as extra momentary switches, not trim switches here.

Goes over stuff that's been covered before and changed already. Goes into the politics with FrSky and OpenTX. He notes that it a carbon copy of the Futaba T-16SZ. To me it is more like the 18SZ of Futaba or even the 14SZ.

Notes pre-loaded SD card. Adjust stick tension by removing rubber side pads, not back of transmitter. Adjusting tension on these original, not Hall gimbals didn't do much to increase tension. Covers a lot of navigation how to.

Doesn't appear to know much about radios. Very unknowledgeable. Didn't prepare for the video by researching the radio at all.

Notes that just got it as a friend works at Jumper. Multi-protocol module IS IN the JR module slot. Mentions conflict with OpenTX.

There is a second video from that same source on the same day where a second person comes on screen.
Second person notes it takes a long time to set up a simple quad.
Discusses actually flying with it.

When video starts it notes that it is a Banggood video. It doesn't show the multi-protocol being in the JR module slot in the back. Antenna comes up directly out of transmitter, but it didn't do that for quite awhile.

Obvious that much of the info is out of date.
