Shaft Replacement Warning!

O.S. Motor OMA-50xx-xxx shaft replacement

The "50" series O.S. Motor brushless motors have a REVERSE thread 4x10mm socket head cap screw that secures the shaft.

I found out the hard way by snapping mine off when changing the shaft.

This is just a heads up so that it doesn't happen to other folks.

The inside of the motor is beautifully engineered and well produced. I really like my OMA-5010-810, but just wish that I'd known about the reverse thread on the socket head cap screw.
