Determining the Conrail's Derived Run Time Using the 3S IMR 10440 Battery

Two timed-voltage tests were completed using the newly configured 3S pack.

Video showing the new timed-voltage test when using the 3S configuration is here.

Test One
10 minutes - 3.970V
20 minutes - 3.834V
30 minutes - 3.719V
Test Two
10 minutes - 3.964V
20 minutes - 3.831V
30 minutes - 3.711V

By "dropping" a battery (voltage) from the battery pack, the amp draw went down allowing an extra ten minutes of derived run time. It also put the maximim speed of 65 mph into a more efficient area of operation of the ESC circuit in the LocoFi™ decoder.

While the physical test proved correct, I'd also looked for other "proof" that the about 12V, supplied by three fully charged 3.7V nominal Lithium batteries was about right.
