 The battery box red lead was soldered to the rear of the connector spring and then the red wire run forward to the connector. MicroMark Micro Connectors are now recommended. The new red lead was positioned directly out to the side and then forward so that it could go to the connector and allow the battery being used only as a weight, to keep the gondola in the NMRA Recommended weight range, to still fit in the battery box. The battery in the battery box is not now part of the circuit. |
